Unit 8 Proportional Relationships
What real-world problem require being able to find a percent of another number?
1. Multiply without a calculator.
Challenge: In a group of 60 triangular and square tiles, 25% are red and 75% are blue. the ratio of triangles to to squares is 1:2. Seventy percent of the squares are blue. Find the number of each kind of tile (red squares, blue squares, red triangles, blue triangles).
