You might need to know how to have percents in baseball for the percentage of what you hit or how much you do something. Say there was a guy that hit 89 times in a month. He hit 67 percent of the time. How many times did he hit the ball?

You might need to find a percent in a situation when your counting how many people in a area/city. You are counting people and it turns out there city have 3% of the worlds population (7,499,987,950) how many people in the area/ city?

You can use percents at a grocery store..... for example.

If a circus can choose to go to 48 states but, only chooses 6, what is the percent that 1 state will be chosen.

When you are in chemistry class in high school you will mix chemicals using for percents such as there is 200 grams in the mixture. Out of 200 grams 20% is boric acid and 30% is sulfuric acid then 50% percent is water.
