A pair of KDs that you want are always on sale, no matter what. Independent variable is percent off for the sale, and the dependent variable is the cost of the KDs

At the store there is a sale. It is for every $50 you spend, you will get an extra 50% off!

Coach Charrollette gives swim lessons. She charges $20.00 for half an hour. So the independent varible would be $20.00 and the dependent varible would be the hours or half hours worked.

You get paid $10.00 for every homer you hit. The independent variable is how many homers you hit. The dependent variable is $10.00.
