Vocabulary Index Cards ~ Using 9 index cards, create vocabulary cards for the following:

1. Units of measurement for length (meter), capacity (liter), and weight (gram).  On the backside of the card, describe about how big each basic unit is.

2. Prefixes for the metric system (kilo-, hecto-,  deka-, deci-, centi-, and milli-).  On the backside of the card, tell the meaning of each using a numerical value (see diagram above for assistance).

Be sure to learn the meanings of the units and prefixes.
